POSITION DESCRIPTION

 

Ø  The primary functions of this position are to lead the warehouse processes of receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping and inventory control of service parts.

 

Ø  Occasionally, you will be required to work beyond the normal closing time to complete critical last-minute shipments or wait for freight carriers to pickup shipments. Weekend overtime may also be required during periods of high business volume. 

 

Ø  Assist in developing standard operating procedures for warehouse activities

 

Ø  Responsible for the training, coaching, and mentoring of warehouse associates; planning, monitoring and appraising job results

 

Ø  Responsible for maintaining the physical condition of the warehouse in a clean and organized state; planning for and driving future improvements

 

Ø  Monitor and track warehouse processes in accordance with department KPI’s

 

Ø  Safeguards warehouse employees, operations and contents by establishing, monitoring and enforcing safety procedures and compliance with OSHA regulations.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Ø  Shipment discrepancy evaluation, resolution and prevention

 

Ø  Daily shipment and freight invoicing

 

Ø  Carrier Scheduling and freight claim filing

 

Ø  Create/supervise cycle count activities and reconciling variances

 

Ø  Redline review

 

Ø  Warehouse equipment management (i.e. inspection, work orders, maintenance oversight, etc.)

 

Ø  Additional duties as assigned
