ROLE DESCRIPTION:

·         Drive and support assigned dealers in the sales of all  products

·         Take appropriate actions on concerns and issues from dealers

·         Coordinate customer activities

·         Monitor, follow-up and report sub-regional market dynamics and dealer sales performance

·         Work with Sales Support  to secure dealer competencies and motivate dealer in product sales

·         Communicate to the Sr. Manager of Sales possibilities/risks regarding discounts affecting price realization and market share in sub-region

·         Work with Regional Service Managers to develop assigned dealers product support departments, and to resolve technical issues

·         Support Key Account & governmental activities for assigned area

 

 

 

 

 

RESPONSIBLE FOR:

·         Market share for assigned dealers

·         Being the commercial interface for assigned dealers

·         Developing dealer profitability through strategic dealer development of assigned dealers (e.g. dealer restructuring, partnership development plan)

·         Dealer forecasting accuracy/deviations and inventory pipeline management

·         Managing the development, implementation and follow-up of dealer business plan

·         Driving discussions concerning sales support adjustments (technical policy and/or goodwill)

·         Effective implementation of  dealer tools

·         Contribution goals, operating expenses and customer satisfaction for assigned dealers

 

 

AUTHORITY:

·         Operate within assigned budgets by Sr. Manager of Sales

 

 

                                          

ACCOUNTABILITY:

 

 

 

·         Accountable to Sr. Manager of Sales

·         Measured by assigned dealers retail sales, market share, volume, inventory, price realization and contribution, customer satisfaction, parts sales, usage of available dealer tools, dealer participation, product support marketing programs etc.)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

POSITION INTERACTION WITH OTHER ROLES:

 

 

 

·         Regional Business Managers are responsible for the sales development with management within the dealership - overall development of HCMA business planning including parts and service and pipeline management.

·         The Regional Product Support Manager is a resource to the Regional Business  Manager in working with the product support area in the development of the dealer’s HCMA parts and service business, and coordinating resolution of related issues. The day-to-day technical and warranty issues are handled by product Technical Support Specialists and from time to time by the Field Technical Support Specialists.

 

 

 

 

 

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

 

Knowledge:

(Minimum)

§  5 years practical working experience in steering a distribution network toward profitability and growth

(Preferred)

§  10 years practical working experience in steering a distribution network toward profitability and growth

§  HCMA  product knowledge

 

 

Education:

(Minimum)

§  Bachelors degree in marketing, finance, or management

(Preferred)

§  Masters degree in marketing, finance, or management

 

Extensive industry experience and knowledge may be considered in lieu of degree requirements in exceptional circumstances

 

 

 

 

Work Environment:

§  Works in both office and field environments

§  Able to perform duties effectively in a fast paced environment whether working autonomously or under direction

§  Extensive travel may be required
